Anna and Liz met up with Tina for late cocktails at a swanky little bar in that posh part of town. Later Talia joined them. She was visiting Tina again only this time Talia was in a pissy mood. She'd caught her rich lawyer boyfriend with another woman. Anna thought about it. Why so pissed off? What happened to the screw love attitude?
Tina whispered to Anna it was all about his Amex card. Talia didn’t want his love. She wanted his credit cards and she wasn’t prepared to share them with another woman.
Let her be pissy then thought Anna. After four years with Gian this was Anna’s first night out again as a single woman. It was certainly no fucking hallelujah but she was determined to make the best of it. And in her very expensive little black dress and very high black stilettos she knew she looked hot.
She just wanted to flirt her cares away with every attractive guy she met.
Tina and Liz were extremely happy to hear that. So happy in fact they celebrated by slipping a condom into Anna’s handbag. Just the way they had over four years ago.
Sure, Anna laughed but she prayed to god it would be the last time for this little ritual. Rituals were all well and good but Anna hoped she wouldn’t have to experience this particular one ever again.
